MultiROM Manager peut installer ou mettre à jour MULROM, sa récupération et les noyaux. Il peut également installer des constructions basées sur l'image du système Ubuntu Touch en Multirom en tant que ROM secondaire.

Multirom est un mod multi-boot unique en son genre pour les appareils Android. Il peut démarrer n'importe quelle ROM Android ainsi que d'autres systèmes comme Ubuntu Touch. En plus de démarrer à partir de la mémoire interne de l'appareil, Multirom peut démarrer à partir du lecteur USB connecté à l'appareil via le câble OTG. La partie principale de Multirom est un gestionnaire de démarrage, qui apparaît chaque fois que votre appareil démarre et vous permet de choisir ROM pour démarrer. Vous pouvez voir à quoi il ressemble sur l'image gauche ci-dessous et en galerie. Les ROM sont installées et gérées via une récupération TWRP modifiée. Vous pouvez utiliser des fichiers zip standard pour installer des ROM Android secondaires, des fichiers d'image pré-construits quotidiens pour installer Ubuntu Touch et Multirom ont même son propre système d'installation, qui peut être utilisé pour expédier d'autres systèmes basés sur Linux.
