An Application that Aims to Increase The Vocabulary For English Exams

YDS Kelime is an educational mobile application developed by Akın Language Educational Institutions by aiming to increase the English vocabulary by students preparing for English language exams.

In 18 chapters in YDS Kelime application, 2000 English words are presented again for the synonyms of English. Starting from Verb I section, 18 sections are completed, respectively. The completion of each section is not in the form of progressing the words by presented them to match once; The application will be realized by understanding that the word has been learned. If it is understood that a word is learned in each section, that word is not presented to map. If there is no word to learn in a section, that section will be completed.

The number of English words presented to be mapped on a screen is increased as the words in the section are learned.

When the word is completed and the finish button is pressed, the correct and mistakes in the matches are expressed and the correct match is shown. In addition, the dictionary is active with the completion of the user match and the Turkish meanings can be seen by dragging the English words into the dictionary.

The 2000 word contained in YDS Kelime application has been prepared by selecting the most common words in exams such as YDS, IELTS, TOEFL.
